How a Trucking Accident Attorney Can Help

Truck drivers and trucking companies have a duty to make sure that they operate and maintain their vehicles in a safe manner. If this duty is not fulfilled, a trucking accident may occur, and the truck driver or trucking company can be held liable for injuries that may result.

Drivers or passengers who are injured in a trucking accident may be entitled to compensation for damages resulting from their injuries, including:

  • Medical expenses
  • Pain and suffering
  • Lost wages
  • Scarring and disfigurement

The families of those killed may be eligible to recover money for funeral expenses and the pain that comes with losing a loved one.

People who have been injured in a trucking accident are advised to seek the advice of an experienced trucking accident attorney to help them protect their legal rights.
